Why are my Venmo deposits failing?

There can be a few reasons why your Venmo deposits are failing: 
  1. Linked Bank account: You can only deposit with a linked bank account on file. 
    1. If you are depositing with your Venmo balance, please ensure your bank account is linked as a back-up. To do so, go to Venmo's setting>Connected Businesses>Mohegan Sun
  2. Bank Issue: Certain banks do not allow transactions via venmo into Gambling sites. If you are having this issue, please try to deposit directly with your bank account with our Online Banking method or VIP Preferred. 
  3. Velocity Controls: Unfortunately, Venmo has strict fraud controls and may flag your repeated deposits as "suspicious" if money is sent to the same merchant. If your deposit was declined and you previous had a successful deposit, please allow some time to pass and try again. Alternatively, use any of our other deposit options to funds your gaming account.
